Cluster One: Services, which includes tourism, entertainment and sports;
Cluster Two: Services & Technology, which includes shipping & berthing, telecommunications and information technology;
Cluster Three: Agriculture & Manufacturing, which includes agro-processing, fresh produce, natural fibres, horticulture and marine products;
Cluster Four: Manufacturing, which includes apparel and other light manufacturing;
Cluster Five: Minerals, Chemicals and Alternate Energy, which includes minerals, caustic soda, chemicals and ceramics.
Our clients are also exposed to a number of available electronic resources. These include online access to Hoovers, Ziplaw and TRAINS, in addition to a wide range of CD-ROMs, local and international newspapers, magazines, sector bulletins and newsletters.
The collection is classified according to the Standard International Trade Classification (SITC) system (the system that is used for trade information). Information is classified in four categories:
Reference - relating to atlases; bibliographies; dictionaries; directories;
Functions - e.g. tourism, trade, investment, quality, trade promotion, management, small business etc.
Countries - e.g. Jamaica, Cuba, Canada, Africa, Korea, Japan etc.
Products - e.g. horticulture, coffee, spices, clothing industry, energy and ethnic products.
